Frequently Asked Questions
All our custom products come with a limited lifetime warranty. This guarantees the product is free from defect and workmanship under normal and proper use, and the product will be repaired or replaced if the operating mechanism breaks. Warranty does not include any necessary trip/labor charges or freight to return product to the manufacturer, if necessary.
Somfy warrants that its motors will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of (5) years starting from the date stamped on the motor.
Stock Products:

0-30 Days = No charge to return products for any reason.
31-90 Days = 25% restock fee applies to all products.
After 90 Days = No returns
Special Order Products: (non-stock)

After 30 Days = No returns
Not Returnable for Credit:
Custom blinds/shades/shutters & motorization
Rods cut to specific length
Custom finished products
Products altered from there original “on the shelf” state

Clearance – distance from the wall to the back of the rod.
Return – distance from the wall to the center of the rod.
Projection – distance from the wall to the front of the rod.

Every product is different but following is a general rule:
Stock hardware – typically ready the next business day
Non-stock hardware – typically ready within 5 business days
Custom blinds & shades – typically ready to install in 2-3 weeks
Exterior shades – typically ready to install in 3-4 weeks
Supply us with approximate window measurements (width x height), the type of product, material and any special features (cordless, motorized, etc) and we will give you an estimate. When you are ready to order, we will get final measurements, place the order, and call you when the order arrives to schedule the installation. You are welcome to use your own installer if you have one or we can recommend some as needed.
